  • Exceeding the speed limit by more than 20 km/h but less than 40 km/h: This will incur a fine of 5,088.90 TL (€145.68). The higher the speed, the greater the risk, thus the higher the fine.
  • Exceeding the speed limit by more than 40 km/h: This serious violation comes with a hefty fine of 8,481.50 TL (€242.82), reflecting its potential to cause serious harm.

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication: The base fine for this infraction is 16,963 TL (€485.44), which can increase dramatically depending on the level of intoxication measured in the driver:
    • Alcohol levels between 50 mg/L to 100 mg/L: The same fine applies, but if it exceeds 100 mg/L, the fine escalates to 33,926 TL (€971.38), emphasizing the severe risk posed to public safety.
